1. Information We Collect

When you use our photo restoration service, we collect:

  • Photos you upload — for the purpose of restoration only.
  • Email address — to send you restoration previews and order updates.
  • Optional information — such as your name and the story behind your photo, to help us provide better service.
  • Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Process and restore your uploaded photos
  • Send restoration previews and order status updates
  • Process payments through Stripe
  • Improve our restoration algorithms (anonymized, without storing your photos)
  • Respond to your customer service requests

3. Data Storage & Deletion

Your uploaded photos and processed files are stored securely on Cloudflare R2 with encryption at rest. All photo files are automatically deleted after 7 days from the date of upload. Order records (without photos) may be retained longer for accounting purposes.

You may request immediate deletion of your photos and data at any time by contacting us at hello@memoryrestore.com. We will process your request within 48 hours.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or photos to third parties. Your photos are processed through our AI restoration pipeline and are never shared with external parties except:

  • AI processing services (e.g., Alibaba Cloud Visual Intelligence) — photos are transmitted securely for processing and are not stored by these services.
  • Payment processors (Stripe) — only payment-related data is shared, never your photos.
  • Email service (Resend) — only your email address is used for sending order updates.

We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encryption at rest for stored files
  • Access controls and authentication for all services
  • Regular security audits
